Tue Bicrete Sreorts--The Halifax Herald says: D. Keith arrived last evening from Charlottetown, where he was com- petiog ip the C. W. A. championships. He was third in the half mile, the finish being very close. Keith was very un- fortunate in the quarter and one mile finals, losing his toe slips and puncturing bis tire in the former. while in the latter he was upset by MeDiarmid, who fel in front of him. This eccured about one hundred yards from the finish, when Keith looked like a sure winner. We received some bad scratches, which prevented him from ftarting in the other events. Keith won the trial heat in the mile in 2.41, which was the best time made atthe meet.
