“Dear Mr. Boswaii:-I am sorry that I did not get u chance to write you sooner but we have been quite busy disposing of th: pigs and everything seems to bf under control now. _
The two cars that were we.’ penned off shipped excaptionall well and looked as good the d: they arrived here as when the, left. The other car that went ta Mr. Baker at Saskatoon, was somewhat crowded and we found that the boars should have been penned off. and some of the larger gilts penned off. they would then have shipped quite a bit bet- ter. However none of the pigs‘ were lost but were all quite a bit» bruised and scarrerL-everythinzi alright now. The ram sliippcdI exceptionally well and put on weight all the way along. I have not seen Mr. Fox as yet but everyone else that saw the ram thought very highly of him. The devotional period was led by the President. Mrs. J. S. Mac- Leod. The attendance numbered fifteen. After roll call the min- utes of the last meeting were read
It was reported that the box of clothing. valued at thirty-five dol- lars, had been sent to Labrador. The offering received at the Church service amounted to $13.35 while the lunch offering at the Summer Rally totalled 820.35.
The study for the evening was based on the early translations of the Bible and the sraat men re- sponsible fer the arduous task 5t. Jerome's work was ably out- lined by Mrs. Seaman and that of Wycliffe and Tyndale was des- cribed by Mrs. Morrison.
The October meeting is to be held at the Manse and the roll call is to be answered by a verse containing the word "Ask."
The meeting closed with Lord's Prayer in unison.
