His Honor the Lieutenant Governor was among those who were in attendance; and he gave the Association a sbort address.

SUDDEN DEATH.

Mr. Thos. Leclair, aclerk inthe em- ploy of Messrs Myrick & Co, Tignish, was found dead iv his bed on Sunday moro~ ing after beinz in his usual good health when retiring about 12 o’clock Saturday night. He was about 40 years old and unmarried,bad always enjoyed good health during the twenty yeare he was in the Mersrs Myricks employ An autopsy war held Sunday evening by Dr. Murphy as- sisted by Dr's Rose, of Alberton, and Myrick of Tignish, whenthe cause of death was found to be cerebral throm- bosis. Mr. Leclair was universally reepect- ed and a general favorite in the large firm thatemployed him. He was a mem ver of Branch No. 281,C. M. B. A., Tiguib, and this society had the tune:al arraugements in charge. Almost the tall membership of this large brancb was in Lhe procession and the funeral which tuok place yester day, was, in consequence, large aod im- posing. Tbe deceased geatleman’s family have the sympathy ofthe whole com- munity.
