The future for co-operatlves looks bright and no doubt. our business will increase another half million this year. Therefore it is only reas- onable tlhat the service. supervis- ion and auditing will increase as the volume of business increases. six years ago the co-operatlves had sales of $135,110.00; today the sales are well over two million dollars. During the some period the total assets of credit unions - increased from $87,000 to $600,000.00. This

crease in business necessarily re- quires ah equally marked increase in organizational, supervision and auditing work and yet this work is being carried on with very little additional staff. We have been trying to give the co-opet-atives and credit unions the service they deserve and we have been giving all the hours that it is possible to get out a day but we know there is so much more that should be done in these three fields. We would like the members to under- stand our problems in the Co-oper- alive Union office, and that in or- der to get the work completed sat- llllﬂciﬂﬁly. it will be necessary to have more staff.
