Surely, now is the time if ever to bring to the notice of train 1nd bus officials the need for more con- sideration of the travelling public. generally and that before a trag- edy occurs through this all to ovi- dent fire hazard.

we hereby beg to commend all past. efforts to lessen the use of alcohol- ic beverages in our Province. Yet we believe the minimum amount to warrant control can only be reached when permit holders are guarded agains the ravages of this nefarious traffic. We note too with much concern and dismay the recent increase ill the beer ration for Nova Scotia and the call for beer parlors from some of the drinking patrons.
