Supper Meeting Is Held Recently

The annual father and son supper meeting highlighted “the March get together of Saint ;Paul’s Laymen's Association | presided over by T.D.’ DeBlois The meeting was held in the parish hall. "~

The president welcomed the 130 members and guests, which included Provincial Scout Com- \missioner for Camps, H. Blanch- jard Mahon, and Distric Com- missioner William D. Ives. All boys of Saint Paul's Scout Troop and Wolf Cub Pack, in uniform, were among the ‘‘sons’’ present.

A sing-song conducted by John Evans with George Thompson |at the piano was enjoyed by all.

The president extended the thanks of the large. group to the co-conveners of the Belvedere Guild, Mrs. Harry MacAustand and Mrs. M.J. ‘MacMillan for the supper which had been | served. A number of prizes were | distributed to the boya on the ‘basis of birthdays, and at the jend of the meeting each boy re- | ceived a bag of treats. ‘
