N PURFL’AN E of a Decree, made in this Honorable Court, in this suit, hearing date the Seventeenth day of March last. there will be Sold by Public Auction, in the apartment occupied as the Court of Chancery, in the Colonial Building, Charlottetown, on SATURDAY. the Third day of Novmmen next, at the hour of Twelve o‘clock. noon. ALL that piece of Land, situate in the Parish of Richmond. on Township Number Seventeen, Comprised in a certain Mortgage executed by the said William Henry Ellis and Hannah Ellis. his wife, to one Henry Smith, bearing date the Twenty-fifth day of September, 1858, and by the said Henry Smith asstgned to William Dodd, the Complainant, the same being bounded as follows: commencing at a stake fixed in the North side of the Main Summerside Road, twenty feet East of the division line between the lands now or lately the property of Jonathan Weatherbe, Esq., and the lands of Mr. Robert Ellis; thence run- ning North thirty degrees East, two hundred and seventy eet; thence East thirty degrees South, two hundred and fortyt‘ eet; thence South thirty degrees West, on to the said Summerside Road; thence West thirty degrees North along the said Road to the stake started from. Also a Water Lot, in front of the said Let and Side of Main Road, one hundred and thirty feet by forty feet, com- mencing from a stake in a line with the North line running thirty degrees East on the shore fronting Bedeque Bay. Together with all easements, rights and appurtenances to the said lands and premises respectively belonging or appertaining. Dated this 3lst day of July, Anno Domini, 1866.

PUBLIC NOTICE. ROAD COMPENSATION ACT.

HEREAS a writ has been issued, directed to us under and by virtue of an Act passcd in the fourteenth year of the reign of her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intitulcd “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of llighways;” and of the Acts in amendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the land through which a certain new road is intend- ed to be made, commencing at the Cross Road at Pierre Jacques School House, and to go northwardly, terminating at the O’Leary Road, and which road will run through or over Lands belonging to A. dc A. Ramsay, James Walsh, Dickinson, Betts and Patrick McLellan.

Now we do hereby give public notice to all parties, that we will commence the execution of said Writ, by tttending at the Cross Roads at Pierre Jacques School house, on the Tenth day of No- vember at the hour of 10 o’clock, in the forenoon of the same day, and from thenco we will proceed along the said new line of road, and complete the inquest according to law. '

\ TIIEREASa Commission has been issued, directed to us. ‘ under and by virtue of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and of the Acts in amendment thereof, whereby we arecouimanded to estimate the damage or advantage that Wlll accrue to the parties through whose land anew line of ROAD is Intended to pass along the line dividing the Farms of Peter McKenna and Peter Aylivorth and through William McCallan’s farm to the Palmer’s Road,

Now we do hereby give public notice to all parties concerned that we will commence the execution of the said Commission by attending on the said line of road, at or near William McCallum’s on Monday the Nineteenth day of November next, at the hour of eleven o’clock, in the forenoon of the same day. and proceed in accurdance with the terms of the Act 14th Vic , cap 1, and of the Acts in amendment thereof.
