The annual meeting of the Cent- ral Christian Church was held Wednesday. Jan. 18th, at 7.30 with a good attendance.

A similar headquarters will be established at St. Andrewn, N. 8., where a new fish inspection inbor- htory will also be opened.

SLIGHT ACCIDE '1‘ — An ac- cident occurred at thc intersec- tion of Kent and Queen streets about 10 minutes boforc midnight last nighii. The accident occurred wihen a car stopped on Queen street waiting for traffic, was struck from behind by a taxi proceeding south on the samc street. Considerable damage was done to the taxi, and slight dain- age was done to the trunk of the other car. No one was injured.
