this Island. made and passed in the. :7th year of the

reign of Ilel‘ Majesty Queen Victoria, intitnled “An

Act. to consolidate and amend the several Laws im-

posing an AsSe ‘sment on all Lands in this Colony, and

for the encouragement of Education ;” and, also. of an

Act mode and passed in the Thirtieth year of the some

reign, intituled -' An Act. to amend the Act relating to Land Assesmnentf’

I do herehy pnhliely notin the owners oracmxpiers Orland in this Island, for which the annual Assossment or Assessments charged thereon hy the raid recited Acts 01‘ some one or more of them, of nine, shillings and two- penee, lawful money of this Island for every hundred acres of wilderness or unimproved lands contained It] the several Townships and the Islands belonging there- to; and the sum of six shillings and eight-pence ofliko money for every hundred acres ofenltivoted or improv- ed lands It] the said Several 'I‘ownshins and Islands as aforesaid ; and at the rate. of nine shillings nnd two—pence of like, money per honored acres for wilderness or unini- proved Town Lots and Posture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown; and at the rate of six shillings and eight-pence of like money per hundred acres tor Cultivated or in‘iproved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the.
