It was the second major fire in Inverness County within three days. Early Saturday a $200,000 fire destroyed the bankhead of number one mine, owned by the Provlncal Government and situ- ated in the town of Inverness, 14 miles north. Fire-fighters arriving on the scene of today's blaze found water pressure too low to direct a stream on the building. Lack of rain dur- ing the fall and wnter had left the water supply at a lcw level.
