AT ALBERTON

Order of parade was Burke's Pipe Band,:Legion color party, war veterans and Girl Guides.

At the monument the service was conducted by Mr. Elmer Mc- Lean of Alberton United Church. The convocation pfayer was given by Rev. Phelan McKenna follow- ed by the hymn “‘O God Our‘Help In Ages Past’’ by Alberton choirs, and Pibroch by the pipers. The names of the fallen in the First World War were read by Rev. Robert Crooks and those of the Second World War by Rev. M. R._ Ness.

The service concluded with the laying of wreaths with Mrs. Rus- sell Leard representing the mot- herhood of Canada. Wreaths were laid by J.W. Don Campbell, M. L.A., representing the provincial government, Mayor Winston Cur: rie, for the ‘town of Alberton. A large number of wreaths were) laid by relatives, organizations! and business firms of the town. |
