On 16 Feb. after a lingering disease, Mr. Duncan Nicholson, of Long Creek, West River, aged 61 years, much and deservedly esteemed by all who knew him. His and was peace.
In the Lord, at East Point, on Saturday last, Mancaiiazr, the beloved wife of Mr. William Rose, in the 23d year of her age. 'l‘he deceased was a young woman of very amiable character, and endear- ed by her many virtues to a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn their loss.
As will be seen in another place, we acknow- ledged the receipt of the English Mail on Thurs- da ni ht. At that time, a bag of London
