"A Holiday Inn in South Miami, a sprawling two-story building not far from the University of Miami. Walking with chuck down the central corridor, up a flight of stairs, down another hallway to the end. The last room, Chuck knocking on the door three times, a man staring out at us, smiling, letting us in. Five men in thee room, middle-aged, businessmen, wearing ties and jackets, having a drink, giving me the old one- over. Chuck talking to me in the dressing room, saying, "Those five guys out there - you’re going to fuck everyone of them." Me looking for the joke: "Chuck don’t talk crazy." No joke: "You got no fucking choice. I already got the money. And that’s something I want you to remember. The first thing you do is get the money...now take off your clothes."

Saying no, then seeing the gun in Chunk’s hand, listening to his insanity: “you know what I think?" I think you're going to take off your clothes, all of your clothes, and then you’re going to go out there and fuck those five guys. And if you don’t I’m gonna put a bullet in your head right now."

And me still innocent, still looking for a smile but seeing only a gun. "I’m gonna shoot you right now, unless you get out there and do what I’m telling you. "Knowing that he meant it, he wasn’t lying; he would shoot me. Going numb then, the tears flooding my eyes as I removed my clothes, trembling, really shaking, too frightened to even pray. Chuck saying: "stop your crying before you go out there. Crying is bad for business." Walking out into the room then, wearing nothing. A man coming over and putting a hand on my breasts: "Not bad Chuck got us a nice young one this time."

i Mike McGrady. The quote above taken from the book Out of Bondage, the account above was Linda Lovelace’s introduction to a life of prostitution and pornography. That is why I have chosen it to be the introduction to a three part series on pornography. Part I the Introduction (November 15, 1990), Part II Pornography (November 22, 1990) and Part III Prostitution (November 29, 1990). Due to limited space, I had to break this story into three parts and unfortunately they will be very short although I do hope to get a point across and that point is also the title of this series another quote from Linda "Lovelace" Marchiano. That point is "Don’t Believe it when they tell you Pornography is a victimless crime."

What exactly is Pornography? This question keeps popping up and it still remains hard to define. There are many different definitions of Pornography.

(1) "Verbal or pictorial material which represents or describes sexual behaviour that is degrading or abusive to one or more of the participants in such a way as to endorse the degradation.” Helen

Langino.

(2) "A presentation or representation whether live, simulated, verbal, pictorial, filmed, video-taped or otherwise represented, of sexual behaviour in which one or more. participants are coerced overtly, or implicitly into participation; or are injured of abused physically or psychologically; or in which an imbalance of power is obvious, or implied by virtue of the immature age of nay participant or by contextual aspects of the presentation, and in which such behaviour can be taken to be advocated or endorsed." (3) "Pornography, or obscenity (which is a legal term) is any material, pictures, films, printed matter or devices dealing with sexual poses or acts
