N.L. MacLeod Dies At Home
The d eath’ occurred at his home at 325 Euston Street, Sun- day evening of Norman Louis MacLeod. He was 40 years old. Educated at West Kent School and Prince of Wales College, Mr. MacLeod enlisted in the 6th Dis- trict Signals of Charlottetown in October 1939. He went overseas in 1940. He served in England and Northwestern Euorpe and took part in the invasion of Nor- mandy.
Following his return from over- seas he rejoined the services, enlisting in the R.C.A.F. Follow- ing his discharge from the R. L. A. F., after serving two years he was employed with the Fal— conbridge Nickle Company or Northern Ontario until the time of his last illness.
He underwent a major surgical operation in Toronto in August, from which he failed to recover. Besides his mother. he is sur- vived by a sister, Mrs. Allison MacKinnon of Charlottetown. The funeral will be held from
