THERE bre not afew naive remarks jo the speech delivered by the Honourable Sir Louis Henry Davies at Souris, At the beginuing of it he said,

There is wealth cf euggestion in this— in view of the “human devices” that are now being practiced ‘all along the line,” from Skinner’s Pond to Souris Break water, and the malific irfluence which has in the elections of recent years been repeatedly brought to bear by “Liberal Organizations” to the confusion and de. feat of public cpinion ia this Province. Truly it behooves electcrs who believe that “righteousness exalteth a nation” to be on their guerd and to work hard for the triumph of the right.

Continuing, Sir Louis eaid :—

The meeting held at Malpeque last evening was a great euccess for the Ops position. Mr Bell begav,epeaking tamely for about half an bour.
