Rendezvous with Mystery Man and Flying Saucer

OSLO (Reuters)-Two Norwegian women claim that last Friday they had a lengthy rendezvous with a longhaired foreigner and his "fly- ing saucer."

This is the story the women- sisters aged 24 and 32-told, accord- ing to police and reporters:

The were picking berries when a dark, longhaired stranger ap- peared and motioned them to A hollow. where they saw a two-ply saucer contraption 16 feet in di- ameter.

He jabber-ed a strange language at them, gestured and made draw- ings to try to communicate. They Jabbered back in English. French and German. No results.

LIKE BUMSBLE BEE

Finally he ssuntered back to his contraption, started it up with a slight humming sound. "like a bumble bee," rose at great speed and vanished into the sky.

They claimed he wore a kind of khaki overalls with no buttons. but "possibly with a belt."

The alleged incident took place near Moajoen, Norway. The local police chief said he will dispatch some of his men to the spot Thurs- day to see what they can find.
