-It was learned yesterday that Summerside is to have in the very near future a new and modern drive in theatre operated by Messrs. Lloyd Ellis and G. Reginald Pope of Summerside and located at Reads Corner, two miles east of the town.

This will be one of Eastern Canada's first drive in theatres and according to plans now fin- alized will provide many out- standing features for the coin- forl and enjoyment of its patrons.

Featuring a giant. screen, which is now near completion its man- agers havc arranged bookings for top quality pictures and this should do much to bring a great- ly increased number of tourists to Summei-side. Ramps will be provided for every car, the pat- ron drives in from the rear end of the field, selects a ramp into which he backs his car and at the end of the show he simply drives ahead a few feet. turns right until he comes to the drive- way leading off from the front of the theatre thus insuring one way traffic and eliminating traffic congestion. Small children when accompanied by parents will be admitted free. There will be can- teen facilities provided as well as lovatories for men and women.

The name of the new drive-in will be the "Starlight Drive-in Theatre."-S
