An impressive candlelight ser- vice was presented in st. Andrews Wednesday evening, under the dir- eetion of the church organist, Mrs. A. 1". C L ", assisted by Mrs. Elsie Watterworth, director and organist of the Junior Gallery Choir The church was beautifully decor- ated for the festive season with evergreen and blue and white on- delabra. The Chriatmas story from the gospel of st. Luke was read by the minister. Rev. D. A. Camp- hell.

Christmas At Montague School

The Montague school held its annual school closing exercises for the Christmas holidays yester- day morning.

In the Memorial School each room was gaily decorated in kecp- ing with the festive season, to- gether with the brightly colored and decorative Christmas tree. ull of which added to the enjoyment of the ocasion for the kiddies. Gifts wcrc cxchanged and each teacher was presented with a gift from the pupils. The exercises closed on the happiest moment, when Santa made his appearance and distributed treats to the children.
