Inspite of his age, this child has overcome a great deal. He suffers from chronic Asthma. Last year, he spent 14 weeks in the hospital. That works out 98 days: a very large part of a small child’s life. Though life may look easy for those around us, (especially for kids), we never roe know until we see the whole picture.

The best part of the story is that this little cloud has a big silver lining. Through it all, Joshua has remained what he is, and what he should be: a child.

A Stroll Along The Beach

The ocean and the sky are twins.

A gentle pink of peace.

The sun is leaving,

It's warmth embraces us good night.

We walk along the shore

in silence, in dreams.

The wind caresses our bodies, the cold sand kisses our flesh, a blue fire, cold desire.

The twins, no longer pink, play with black. The moon gives us light,

with shadows that glide on ocean,

while the sea protects the land.

A beautiful evening, but sad. When men and women stroll in love,

when it is asked,

"exactly what is your meaning?" -it simply bows its head and says, "if this you ask,

then I have no meaning."
