MERLINS TO BE STUDIED. NATIONAL HERON CENSUS. Members of the P.E.I. Natural History Society have been invited to participate in a project which will collect up to date information on the Island's Great Blue Heron population. At present there are fifteen known nesting colonies in the province. Volunteers will be visiting colonies in late June to record numbers

of nests and reproductive success. If you would like to participate
