Ietme introduce myself. My name is Garfield. I'm sure my fame precedes me as a fat, lazy, arrogant, lasagna—loving cat. Well, everything you heard is true, but now I'm donating my journalistic talents by writing a column on anything you, the readers, are interested in. I've brought along my teddybear Pookie to censor the column and Odie the Wonder Durme to lick stamps and other such important jobs. I like working with him because he's so easy to find...just follow the drool.

Since this is our first column we've decided to start with something all of you can relate to.

This past week we surveyed you on the clubs of Charlottetown (yes, all four of then!) and your mum UPEI pubs. Although girls and guys were polled separately, we found they both rated the pubs best overall because it was thought thev were attended by more good— looking people and they had the best music and atmosphere.

0n the flip side it was found that Avenues scored the lowest ‘ t ‘ overall With many pmple haVing never even been there. Especially

girls. One person was ‘ quoted as saying "I donut want "my face rearranged; I the my is."

For'people who like live rock and roll bands

It Scored highest in seating space as well, WeVe-rr most peeple carxplained of the high price of oovercharge and drinks.

Differences of Opinion arose between the sexes when asked "about the Wagon Wheel Lounge (affectionately known as Jim's). On a scale frcm l to 10 the girls rated it a seven Werall While the guys barely Passed it with a 5,4.

The main difference was . in the variety amd quality 0f the music with one guy menting I "Disco Sucks, especially when one 30119 is played 6.5 times during the night."

Although there is certainly a lack of variety I guess that's the drawback of liVing on a snall island.
