The film produces many laughs when Miss Riano finds herself the butt of many jokes because of her resemblance to the cartoon char- acter, Maggie. She is put on pro- batlo-n by the court after she ss- saults people with pies for laugh- ing at her. Maggie pleads with artist Moivlanus to stop drawing his cartoon Maggie, but he refuses. Because of loss of social prestige she finally brings Mom/tarsus to court, despite the plea of Jiggs. A big surprise awaits Maggie in the humorous climax of the trial. l
