Orrawa, Sept. 17. lu the Public Accounts Committee, Mr. Beaushemine, a Montreal dealer in beok binder material, testified that he gave Mr. Senecal some $90 in commissions on $100 sales.

Mr. Benoit, President of the Liberal Conservative Association of Montreal dis- trict, Was examined, but nothing new was elicited.

George Holland, stenographer, was call- ed to prove that Brooks Young, of the New England Paper Co., a previous wit- ness, tuld a different story in a Montreal law-swit from that which he told the com- mittee.

There was a lengthy discussion as to the relevancy of this evidence, and it was left over for further consideration,

Schooner Wrecked—Crew Lost. San FRANctsCco, Sept. 18 The Schooner Pannonia sailed from Mershall Islands for San Francisco in May, laden with a general cargo and a crew of seven, Capt. Loreday, wife and three children, and also, it is said, sereral mission- aries were on board. The schooner was wrecked on the reef to the north-west of the Hawaiian Island, and every soul on board drowned.
