Woo. iv Hsars.—There is evidently a great trade being done in wool. Passing along the business quarters great heaps of this product may be seen being trucked away for shipment. One of the largest lots to be seen is at C. Riley’s, Pownal Street, and it is indeed s beautiful lot. The supply seems equal to the demand. ¥rj?

Tournament Tropaiss.—In Mr. L. W. Cook’s window are the prizes for the events in the military cournament. There are the trophies forthe tug-of-war, tent~ pitching competition and relay race, also the trophy presented by the City Council for the highest number cf points. Besides there are a great number of medals.

KINDERGARTEN.—The pupils of the Kindergarten were entertained this morn- ing by the retiring principal, Mies Sayre. After eome hearty singing by tke little one*, and a few words of farewell admoni- tion by Miss Sayre, ice créom and cakes were served, This wae succeed by the presentation uf souverir diplomas. These bore on half the numbera medallion of Lord Roberte, the other moiety bearing the well-loved features of Mies Sayre. The presentation over, Professor Watis stepped forward and on behalf of the t-aching staff presented Miss Sayre with a hand-painted China chocolate pitcher, the v ork of Mise*Temp'e. Three bearty cheers for§their preceptrees were given and the children bade her good-bye for the last time in her official capacity.

Nos, 14 and 15; 10 points 5 points, 2 points.

The keen rivalry between military companies, generally, is at present at boiling point, and as all the athletes of any note in P. E. I. are in one or another of the companies. The races will be hotly contested even to the 5th and 6th man in every race.
