Dirty Deeds Rocks The Wave On Hallowe’en Eve

What do Kiss, Bubbles, Jason Voorhees, some fun-loving smurfs, guys in diapers and scanti- ly-clad nurses have in common? Not a lot really, other than the fact, we were all among the mass- es waiting patiently to get inside. The Wave last Thursday to see "Canada's Number One Tribute Band To AC/DC"— Dirty Deeds. Well, that last part is a lie; we weren't waiting patiently - we were anxious and wanted to get the hell out of the cold and to beat the onslaught of ghosts, goblins and monsters who had yet to appear.

Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween; it's a great excuse to dress up and act CRAZY, but when you're outside turning blue, you probably wish your costume was a little warmer (Just ask Papa Smurf and the guys in diapers). Halloween without ‘Hells Bells.' Dirty Deeds showed why they are one of the best cover bands around, and if they are ever in town again, you should definitely check them out. Be sure to visit their web site, www.dirtydeeds.ca for all their latest tour dates.

As for the costumes, there were too many memorable ones to mention— but here are a few: the Moulon Rouge ladies, Wonder Woman, Lady Dracula, School Girls, and The Lady Musketeers — they were all good and then some. Hope to see you all next Halloween.
