HELD FOR. 'CREAM ~

The turnout for 1977-78 Deans dinner held at the Rod Motor Inn last night was not what had been ex— pected.

'Ihe armual Deans dinner has been a rather contro- versial issue on campus for the past couple of weeks due to the fact that only the top one hundred of the 229 studaits that made the Deans List were invited to attend.

Some ninety—five people attended the reception and dimer Wednesday evening. About thirty of this nun‘b— er included netbers of the university faculty, staff and administration, as well as the Deans. This left only about sixty-five stu- dents in attendance.

The 6:30 reception and then at 7:30 the meal, was followed by the introduc- tion of the guest speaker, Kari Levitt, by Dr. mvid Milne. \
