CHATHAM. Ont. Feb. 24 —(CP) —Cha.rles Henry Houson; president ofmthe Canada and Dominion Sug- ar Company Ltd. and well known Canadian industrialist and finan- cier, died at his home here today after an illness of several weeks. He was 73.

Mr. Housorfs business interests were in Montreal and he spent much of his time there. In addition to holding the presidency of the Canada and Dominion Sug- ar Company, he was president of Montreal Products Company, Ltd, and a director of the Mutual Life Assurance Company and oi’ the Ca- nada Trust Company.
