For years the gold miners have thought of disvovering the source whence the gold found in the Siskatchewan river cumes. The gold is nut préduced in the river, and the theory. has been that there must be some huge deposit near the spot where the river first makes its appearance, that the River washes throngh these depusits, and earrids OF the yrecious stones with it. But this theory lacks confirmation, for the reason that the wearer the approach to the Bource of the river the scarcer the gold becomes. Others hold that there is a bar of gld somewhere in the bed of the river near where the gold deposits are found.
