TENDERS, in Duplicet:, upon Printed Forms, at this Ofiee, until] Noon on Wednesday the 8th instant, from persons desiring te enter into a con- tract for the supply of FORAGE ad this station, trom the 16i:h November, 1865, to the 31st Decem- ber, 1866.

The ration to consist of [4 lbs. Hay. 10 Ths. of Oats, and 6 lbs Straw, and the price to be stated in Sterling, in words at length, as well as in figures, at per ration.

The Forage to be all of the best quality; the Hay to be Timothy and Clover, to be perfectly sweet and wholesome, and to be cut at least three | months previeus to delivery; the Oats to be clean, J -weet and sound, to be at least three months old, and to weiyh not Jess than 37 Ibs. to the bush- el; the Straw to be (Cgten or Wheaten, long. thoroughly dry and treclllen weeds and thistles, and of fit quality for litter.

The ration of Oats to be exchangeable at the op- tion of the parties drawing Forage, for Bran of the best quality, inthe proportion of half a bushel of Bran per Ration, and to the extent of one Ration a week. Kut in the case of Sick Horses, to any extent, and in the same proportion.

Tie whole of the Forage to be subject to the ap- proval of the Commissariat Officer, or if required, to that of a Board of Officers constituted by proper authority.

The Contractor to provide at bis own expense a proper and convenient Store, and to bave of each description of Forage, and at all times, a supply equal to three months’ consumption, in Depot, vear the Garrison ; and at least one week's sup- ply in the Issuing Store. The whole to be subject to the inspection of the Commissariat, and any Forage disapproved of to be immediately removed by the Contractor, and to be replaced by other ; Forage of proper quality; and in the event of the Contractor failing to do so promptly, the Commis-
