Aircraft familiar to Island resid- ents such as the P. 2 V-7 Neptune. Avro Lancaster, and DC-3 Dakota will be on hand. giving those pre- sent a chance for a much closer look at the aircraft which defend Canada's vital shipping lanes. The "Neptune." a sleek aircraft designed specifically for detecting and destroying enemy submarines. will show how quickly it can g at info the air and how little runway it requires to land.
