-At the home of Mrs. Ivan Pickering I meeting of the Young People was held for the purpose oi of organism: a Mission Band. Miss Vivian Wooosldo was in the chair. The meeting was opened with hymn No. 028. "Jesus Love The theme of our story was ”In the beginning God made heaven and earth . . . . . . .” Questions were asked on the story: Prayer was led by- the leader. Hymns No. 598. ”Away in a Manger." A discussio on ”Whythave a. Mission Band" was held. .
It was moved by Ralph Woodside, seconded by Linda. Woodside that a Mission Band be organized at Clinton. Fourteen members paiid membership fees. The following of- ficers . were elected: President. Valerie Woodside; Vice-President. Ralph Woodside; Secretary. Jean I-leaney: Treasui'er, Linda Wood- slde; World Friend's Secretary. Charles Smith.
The name decided on for the band was ”United Workers.” Meet- Inga are to be held the first Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The next meeting is to be held at the home of Miss Vivian Woodside. Copies of the Member's Purpose were passed around. Norma White- head has prayer for next meeting. In the program for next month are Gail Pickering and Joyce Easter.
The meeting closed with hymn No. 53. "Silent Night! Holy Night? and a prayer by Garth Pickering.
The hostess served a lunch and the program consisted of a story and a game.

The late Miss Liiman was for many years. connected with St. Crapaud. and was known and high- ly respected by a wide' circle of friends and relatives. Funeral services. largely attendel. were conducted at St. John's Church by the Pastor Rev. Mr. Ebsary. in- terment in the Church Cemetery. Church worshippers were atten- tive listeners to the Christmas message proclaimed in the Chur- ches throughout this pastoral charge on December 19, and participated in the Christmas Hymns led by large choirs.
