Witness Parents Get Baby Back

TORONTO (CP) — Lori Lyn Campbell, centre of a legal battle when her Jehovah's Witness par- ents refused to permit a blood | transfusion, was returned to them Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Camp- bell of nearby Newmarket lost custody of. their baby daughter when a special court was held in the Toronto Sick Children’s Hos- pital shortly after her birth.

The baby was put in care of the Children’s Aid Society to al- low a transfusion after complica- tions arising from an Rh blood disorder had threatened the baby's life. The parents refused transfusions, which are contrary to their_ religious beliefs.
