BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of th City of Charlottetown as follows :—

1. From and after the first day of June, in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight. uucil the first day of October, in the said year, no Pigs or Swine shall be kept within the limits of the City of Charlottetown ; and in every succeeding year no Pigs or Swine shall be kept within the limits of the said City from the first day of May until the first day of October in each year ;

Provided always that Pigs or Swine may be broup ht into the said City for the purpose of pub- lic exhibition, or for transit, shipment or sale, if they are not kept therein longer than five days.

2. For every Pig kept in the said City in viola- tion of the foreguing section the owner or keeper
