Redeemer, Charlottetown was the', scene of a pretty wedding on see . tember llth at 9.00 s.m. when: Mary Eleanor, eldest daughter of Mr. anti Mrs. Frederick J. McAd- am. became the bride of James Hubert. son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat- rick lilurnaghan. Rev. J. W. Al- lan. C.S.s.ll. performed the cere- mony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass.

The altar and sanctuary were beautifully decorated with vases of mixed gladioli, interspersed with vigil lights. The guest pews were marked with white satin bows.

The bride entered the church on Ire arm of her father to the strains of the wedding march play- ed by Mr. Alex MacLean. Dur- ing the ceremony beautiful hymns were rendered by Miss Joan Mura- aghan and Mrs. John Walsh, Jr., sisters of the groom.

The bride was beautifully attir- ed in a floor length gown of white Chantilly lace and net over satin. The matciiiiitz lace bolero had a

sequins and pearls. The long sleeves tapered to points over the hands. The shoulder length veil was held in place by a tiara head- dress trimmed with seed pearls. The bride wore small pearl ear- rinizs and carried a white prayer book with s corsage of red car-

groom.

Th bride's mother chose for her daughter's wedding a dress of pale blue lace over taffeta. with navy accessories, and wore a corsage of pink carnations. The groom's mother wore a teal blue taffeta dress, with rose accessories. and her corsage was rose carnations.

immediately following the cere- mony the wedding breakfast was held at the Queen Hotel. where 75 guests were present. The bri- dal table was attractively decorat- ed and centered with a three tier wedding cake topped with a minia- ture bride and groom. The cake was cut in the traditional manner by the bridal couple.

The young couple will reside in Newcastle. N.B., where the groom is stationed with the R.C.A.l". at Cbathsm.

A wedding of interest to many friends took place Saturday at 9 am. in St. Mary's Basilica when Nursing Sister Marion Louise Mad- den. R.C.N., became the bride of Dr. Pius Manning Sigsworth, all of Halifax.

Miss Madden is the elder daugh- ter of Mrs. Harry I). Madden of Halifax. and the late Mr. Madden Dr. Slgsworth is the son of the late Captain and Mrs. W. J. slgs- worth of Newport. P.E.l.
