His influence on think- ing men of his own time and the ensuing decades was considerable -hot the least important of his disciples were the Nazis. for he wos the man who invented the doc- trine of the Superman.

Not that Nietzsche thought the German people was a ruperrace Abs notion was invented by the Nazis. However. he did think that humanity found its highest and ntiilest expression in certain sup- ermen. who were able to overcome all that stood in the way of their will to power. their will to create.

These supermen. according to him. were by no means limited to anyone nation. They appeared only very occasionally. and they might swing from any people. in any

KRESTOVA. B.C. tCPt - The body of a Doukhobor widow. Mrs. Mary Gienger, 32, was found hang- ing from a beam in her Krestova home Thursday night

Nearby was a letter she had just received from her nine-year-old daughter Patsy. detained at a New Denver school. it read:

"llommy. I am lonesome for you. . . . Come and visit me. . . . I love you. Goodbuy"

There are 89 children in the school in New Denver in B.C.'s Kootenay district. They are con- sidered wards of the courts. taken when their Doukhobor parents re- fused to send them to school in accordance with BC law.
