Only 25 cards were held in the Illaritinics during the year and most of those took place lnNova Scotia. as compared to 1955 when the Maritimes enjoyed one of its best seasons with no less than 56 cards being held.

The ratings, which include only those boxers who have been fair- ly active during the year, lists only four Charlottetown boxers- Louls tcobeyl lilccluskey. form- crly of P. E. I.'s capital city and now oi Dartmouth. reigns still as the middleweight char ion. Mc- Cluskey almost retir from the ring because of a lack of niatch- es this year but is in training now and will continue his ring activity.

Gaston Roy and Don Trainor me listed as outstanding boxers ill the middleweight division and Bobby Gallant, is an outstanding boxer of the lightweight class.
