The March edition of the Cana- dian Ayrshire Review comprised mainly a detailed report on the Annual Meeting of the National Organization of Ayrshire Breeders The front cover displayed the presentation of six "high produc- tion shields". one of which was accepted by Col, F. I. Andrew. Charlottetown, National vlce-prea- ident. on behalf of John W. Lewis. Freetown. who owned the All Canadian Ayrshire for 1954 in the Junior two-year old Honour Roll division with a record of 11.765 lbs. of milk testing 4.896.

The Record of Performance classes had a large number of animals listed. The Senior four- year old Honour Roll class was led by ”Glenbolm Snowdrop" with 11.490 lbs. of 4.4198 milk. This cow is owned by R. L. Cairns, Freetown. A. Macllaa & Sons. Charlottetown. made two fine re- cords. one al which was 14,491 lbs. of milk and 672 lbs. of butter- fat from "Fairvue Maid" in the

commission investigation of the lndustralization program. The ar- rest of Valdmanis was one of the reasons cited by Mr. Browne as

cause for an inquiry.

Mature I5-do! division. The outer record was produced by "Fairvue Mariana Gem" and

totalled 511 lbs. of fat as a senior three-year old which was high enough in lead her class.
