Tue hearty appreciation shown by the large audience which quite filled the Music Hall last night renders any landatory comments on the merits of the perfermance unnecessary. The deserved reputation of Mr. Kennedy and his family isso great that they are well received in whatever part of the world they appear. The programme of course, consisted almost entirely of Scotch songs, only just enongh music of a different character being given to furaish a little varicty. Mr. Kennedy’s voice is fall and rich, and his performance abounds with spirit and vite ity. His manner of sing- ing is notably dramatic, and by the aid of gesture and fwial expression. hecertzinly does not fail to take advantage of every means of producing an effective result. Then his re- marks and stories connecting the different numbers of the pro-ramme, were exceedinuly amusing. [he other members cf the fami’ y | all performed L their parts very well.
