Three Horse Teams are becoming more and more common, and cannot be too earn- estly recommended. A man ean drive three horses as easily as he can drive two. Where it takes the strength of one horse to draw

Keep the Manger Clean and Sweet.—As soon as the horse stops eating the ent food remove all that is left from the manger. This is very important. the manger every day. The horse will not eat too much ifthey have it regularly.

For Chafed sholders wash with warm soft water and castile soap and then dress with crude petrolum. If ulcerated, wash them with carbolic soap and apply petrolum after- wards. If possible let the horse rest a few days.—American Agriculiurist.
