The Conemaugh Again

A Johnstown, Pa., special sent late on the night of the 10th says: A large part of the town is flooded, but the highest point seems to have beeu reached. The water

The water is about a foot deep on both streets arounl the Club House, and the Morrell House is surrounded by three feet of water. The Western Union office is sur- rounded by a depth of several feet. The | Muminating gas plant is all under water jand me light was given last night. Part of jthe Popular Street bridge is gone and the Cambridge Bridge has been washed away. The ground is gradually washing away where the stone wal! fellin on the banks of Stoney Creek, and it is feared the foun- dations of a number of dwellings may give way. The Cambria Mills have been closed. The Pennsylvania railroad embankment near bridge No. 6 was badly washed away and one track has disappeared in the river, The flood was caused by heavy rains on Tuesday night.
