Crapaud Exhibition and Races,

The exhibition and races held on the Crapaud Drivicrg Park and grounds on Friday, 23rd inst., were decidedly suz- cessful. The day was all that could be de- sired, the order good and the attendance was large and r presentative, despite (he fact that a blunder as tu the date was made by a Charlottetuws paper and .copied by a Summersiie one.

[The show of horses was fair; of cattle good, and of sheep excellent. Few but tine pigs were exhibited. The poultry classes did not fill. The grain seeds and vegetab’es were good, the potatces being especially fine. The fruit, consisting of apples, plums, grapes, etc, was indeed splendid and very tempting. The fancy work was simply clega:t—-hesrth-rugs, patch quilts, crazy patch work and sofa pil- lows, cil paintiugs, crayons, maps, etc., decorating the building beautifully,

The races were well fitled in each class, and hotly contested, the green race being fought out till twilight, taking seven hes-s. Particulars will appear after the Provincial Exhibition is over.
