(lordon and Elinor of Edmon- ton, Alberta, arrived in the city by tliu late train last evening, and will be the guest of Major and Mrs C. ‘L MitcKay, 21S Kent Street. lBotli Mr and Mrs MacKay are natives of this Province, and this is their second visit since moving to the West about twenty years ago, it is fourteen years since their last visit and no doubt they will be greatly impressed with the im- provenieiits in our city since then. Mr. MacKuy is the head of the lMacKay Coal -Co., Ltd, ln Edmgn- ton, which has extensive coal min- ing interests in that Province and we are glad to state he is one of the successful islanders abroad. 130th Mr and Mrs MacKay and chil- dren will be heartily welcomed by all their relatives and friends to the "Gordon of the Gulf," their own native home.
