How -Was. It?

On the weekend of January 12th and 13th, the Modern Lan- guages Club had its first french immersion weekend at the Centre Goeland in Mont Carmel. Well, we’re happy to say that it was lots of fun! Thirteen of us partic- ipated and it was the perfect op- portunity to meet people (actu- ally, we had no choice because we were in such a secluded area) and we were immersed... French. was all that was spoken for the most part. What did we learn? Well, here are some of the highlights:

— 2 of the 3 carloads got lost and showed up 2 hours.late...

— Everybody liked spaghetti, chilie and chinese food...

— Jean-Jacques was murdered — not surprizing, given this ob- noxious personality.

— “Northern” Combat was in- vented...

- Carol can’t make toast.

- Cross your fingers when Rodney is driving...

~ The final car ralley stop was at the place we were staying at, but a certain person didn’t recog- nize it when she got there.
