Mrs. Lloyd Wilkie of Alberton is the president.

The regular monthly meeting of the North River W.I. was held at the home of Mrs. Russell Wiheatle-y on June 2nd. Twenty five members and one mentor were present. I

The meeting opened by singing “0 Canada" followed by the Mary Stewart Collect. Roll call was answered by an exchange of flower slips and bulbs. The min- utes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Bills amounting to $5.15 were presented by the schooiiand sick committees. Five dollars was vo- ted for each school. Warren Grove and East Wiltshire. for the school closing.

Delegates appointed to attend the annual convention are Mrs. George Yeo and Mrs. Lawrence Molyneaux. Mrs. Roy Bruce re» ported $52.00 collected tor the Red Cross.
