It being currently re orted, that tho petitions pre- sented to the House 0 Assembly, for the investiga- tion of the Landlords‘ titles, and to make the Legis- lative council Elective—-received no consideration or countenance lrom the Government; but at the close of the Session, they passed an Act uncalled for, to separate and narrow up the istricts—to ad six more Members to the House of Assembly, to increase the expense of that body, and add to the debt of the Colony;
