A Nargow Escare.—The schr. Robbie

odfrey, Robinson, at St. John for Philadel- phia, had a narrow escape from going to pieces on the 24th when off Moospeck. ‘The wind had died out and a heavy shore so that it was feared she the rocks. The man was placed inher. An ro, and about sixty fathoms offchain paid out. The vegsel touched ground and carried away part of her fore shoe. When about all hopes were given up, the chain and anchor were slipped, the boat hoisted and the schooner ran olf shore again. — Ex.
