He had asked the clerk for a room and was gbout to give his name when he fell dead to the floor. Dr. H. MaoDonald was celled but his efforts were in vain. Dr. E. St. Laurent, cor- oncr, cf Caplin, Qua, came down and empanoled a jury.

An inquest was held and death by apoplexy was the vcr- dict. Two sons grrlved there and took the remains to New Carliale, where interment will be made today.
