This Editor has a number of issues he would like to caummu:cn this week but,alas,due to lack of time (editors are not exempted fromimid—terms and termlpapers as many seem to believe),he is unable to do so.

Press time is drawing near and the editorial and two stories have yet to be written.What I intend to do is ccnbine one of the articles and the editorial. Fall Fest is over.iaving been involved with scme of the organization of the four—day event,I would like to express a great deal of thanks to Turtle(Sharon Timmons) for all the work she did.Not only did she hire and look after the bands but she also worked

.as campus Police for most of the events as well as lhelping to set up before,and Clean up after,ALL events.

Peter Wilson and his Campus Police did an excel- lent job at all events.Although few people may re- alize the amount of work they do,the CP'S were responsible for all the events running as smoothly as they did. ' .

I have worked on a number of Winter Carnival. and Fall Fest commdttees,but never before have I’ received the amount of support from.the Student Union executive as I did this year.

Kevin Gauthier,President of the Student Union,

must have attended every event,and at each he helped

iron out many of the problems which seemed to crop up.Kevin also proved that Presidents can have a strong back as well as mind??? Maria Driscoll and Claire Currie teamed up and produced the decorating commdttee for the Fall Fest Ball.Their paintings and decorations were superb. Mike Kennedy looked after all our licenses, bar—tenders,clean-up.audio visual,etc.Thanks for your support Mike.You're doing a great job at the Barn this year. There are many other people who gave hours ‘of their time to help make Fall Fest the success that it was.Mickey,Pat Ingraham,John,Dave,SUN staff, CLMN,so_:ia‘l ootmiittee,Neil,Robin and the bartenders, KEn,Ron,Mike,and the rest of the set up and clean up crews,and anyone else I may have forgotten. , Fall Fast '78 was one of the most enjoyable events that I've been at in a number of years.Some events were sold out,some were notIAll were a lot of fun.
