This Friday, the Panthers will-be travelling to Wolfville to play winless >Acadia. The Panthers will be looking to increase their goals scored 'as their average is less than two a

game. Then 'on Sunday, the Panthers will play their .last home game of the regular seaSon as the

University. of Moncton will be visiting. Moncton is presently tied for second in the WeStern Division with

USNoBo‘ UoPoEqu out their" regular season with two games in

~ Newfoundland versus Memorial

on October 22 and 23. The Panthers know not to take

' these games lightly and will

have to keep up their outstanding play to insure that the Division title does not escape their grasps.

TRAFFIC AND PARKING

A. on December 13, 1983, the Board of Governors for the University of Prince Edward Island approved new "Traffic and Parking Regulations" for the University and these new regulations went into effect on January 1, 1983. .These regulations outline. the hours of accessibility to each parking area and restrictiOns pertaining thereto.

B. 1. jIn parking lots A,B,C,D,E, the parking regulations are unchanged and anyone having a valid University parking permit may use the parking spaces in these areas.‘

2. Reserved areas have

been set. aside for use during regular working hours. These parking areas have been assigned by the Traffic and Parking Committee and are reserved primarily for the Deans, Chairmen . of academic departments, and some

administrative personnel.

3. There will be reserved parking areas and spaces _for the physically disabled and visitors.

A. .The visitors' area in the large lot on the west

side of campus will be available to faculty and staff and students on the

same. time basis accorded to visitors. (Please remember that _the main purpose of these spaces is to provide easy access-for visitors to campus).

5. The’ parking areas

.reserved will be

_identified by numbered posts

and these parking spaces are to be used only by the

persons to whom they are assigned. All parking spaces, excluding those

reserved 24 hours each day, will be available to everyone outside the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

6. Those parking spaces reserved 2M hours each day will be filearly marked with appropriate

signs and-the parking spaces reserved for the physically handicapped will be identified by \the accepted logo.

c. Physically disabled“

persons may receive special parking permission to park in designated areas provided they submit their requests in writing to the Director of Security who will bring them to the attention of the

Traffic and Parking Committee. Anyone already having special parking permission, for medical or

Other reasons, must submit a new application as outlined in this paragraph.

D. Deptartment heads

can call the Security Department to reserve the small visitors' lot for

meetings being attended by people off campus.

E. COpies of these regulations are available at the Security office in the Physical Plant building and at the Robertson Library. All members of the University community should make themselves familiar with these regulations.
