An accident about 8:30 yesteb day afternoon at Valleyfield sent five persons to the Kings County Hospital.

The accident occurred when a late model Meteor driven by Gor- don Buchanan. R.C.A.F., Labra- dor, left the road while rounding a turn and after travelling scum distance in the ditch. crashed head-on into a tree. The force at the impact uprooted the large tree which was directly across the road from the\ United Church manse. The car was completely wrecked.
